Hello everyone! I feel so excited to be here! Let me tell you some things about me. My name is Efi Tzouri, I come from Greece and I am a mother of two kids. I have been teaching English for almost 17 years and I have been specialised in Experimental theatre as a performing art as well as in British Theatre and Drama both at John Moores University of Liverpool and at Royal Holloway University of London. This is one of the most challenging periods of my life because I am attending a very demanding Master degree Course on Language Education for Refugee and Migrants. Creating ELT materials is one of the most essential skills teachers should have especially when working with learners with refugee background like me.
In my free time I love hanging out with my kids, visiting the local library together and watching animated films. My favourite one (actually two) are "Coco" and "Inside Out". Have you seen any of these films?
Welcome Efi! I'm delighted to see you on this course.
ReplyDeleteKatherine Bilsborough I am so happy to be here and gain so much valuable knowledge from you! You will be our source of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow. My dear Efi, I am so excited to meet you here. There is sooo much i have always wsnted to learn from you. Performing arts have always been of interest to me, but , sorry to say, have never been applied in my practice. Have attended workshops on using theatrical techniques in class, but overloaded state school cirriculum has always caused obstacles. Flipped and blended learning don't help much in this case eirher. Well, there is always hope ....
ReplyDeleteI am so happy we are together on this course dear Mariia Ruban . Sharing is learning and we have so much to learn from each and everyone!
