Hello everyone,
I'm Carmen. I'm currently living and working in Dubai at the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai Men's Campus. I'm the Foundations Program Coordinator. I was born and raised in Canada. My parents were Spanish. I am on a voluntary leave of absence from my position at a language school in Spain. I'm looking forward to meeting new teachers and sharing ideas. I like to think of myself as a lifelong learner that is why I am always looking for new learning experiences.
Life-long learning is what keeps us curious. I love how you took time off to work somewhere else. This is something I want to try soon.
ReplyDeleteRhett Burton Hi, I have done this several times. I work for a government-owned Spanish language school. They are called Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas (Official School of Languages). I have been working there for about 25 years, but I have taken several leaves to go back to Canada, to the US, Saudi Arabia and now UAE.
