Hi everyone

Hi everyone,

It's lovely to be here. The first question everyone asks someone they meet for the first time is "Where are you from?" Not the best question for me. Let me explain. Born in England, lived there for years, parents from Greece, live in Greece now. In England I was the Greek, in Greece they call me "Anglida" - English. So, I consider myself an in-between!! :)
I've taught English for almost 20 years. I don't teach anymore, but as the saying goes "Once a teacher always a teacher."
Looking forward to working with everyone and picking everyone's brains.

  3. Lovely to meet you! I went to Greece last year for the first time in about 3 decades. I'd forgotten how wonderful it was, especially the people and the food!

  8. Miss Alex and the worst I've been told! I seem to have a combo of British punctuality ( not the best in Greece where everything runs two days late) and and the Greek loud voice ( but I actually like this) :)

  9. Hi Anastasia, I soooo can empathize with that. I was born in Canada and lived there for 16 years. I then was taken to Spain because I was underage. I didn't ever really fit in. Nowadays, I have my base there because my daughter and grandchildren are there, but I like to work in and travel to other places.
