Riadh chelly if you create a free account on Pixabay you can download images without the watermark.
ReplyDeleteRiadh chelly - thanks for sharing. Some nice photos, good activities types, and helpful teacher notes.
ReplyDeleteCan you also tell us more about the students it's intended for (e.g. age, level, class size, course, aims)?
If you haven't already, you might consider using a vocabulary profiler to check the vocabulary level and possibly change a few words. (There's a couple of typos, too
Just one other suggestion: either before or possibly after the speaking activity, it might be helpful to have a 'language focus' task to hone in on the language of speculation. For example
Rank the following from most certain to least certain:
- They might be on holiday.
- They're definitely on business.
- I'm pretty sure it's a bit of both.
- They could be strangers.
- They must know each other.
- They can't have just met.
Hi Riadh,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your materials for week 3 with the group. Barbara hs answered your query about Pixabay, so that’s great – useful for everyone. I loved the choice of photos and your very clear lesson plan helped a lot. Great to have images and an audio - Thank you!
I’ve made come comments about the actual materials.
Intr activity. I’d number this task (1) and I’d give the photos letters A, B and C – this is useful for when the studnets are referring to the pictures.
The next task on theworksheet says number 5. I think you should addthe tasks that go before this one. Looking at the LP, I think they should be.
2. Listen and make a note of the main ideas.
3. Listen again and complete the sentences.
4. Work in pairs.
a) Compare and contrast the three pictures.
b) Dicuss what the think the purpose of each trip is and the people might be feeling.
Maybe add some useful language that will help them speculate.
