  2. Hi Debbie,
Thanks for posting your week 4 materials. I’ve read through the LP and seen the crossword so I’ll make some comments here. Thanks for the detailed background and LP by the way. This kind of thing is extremely useful and anyone using these materials could easily pick them up and walk into the clas without worrying too much about understanding what they have to do or how to use the materials.

I like how you have progressed from Week 3’s materials base don the painting to have a follow-up vocabulary lesson. Good to see you using technology to enhance the materials too. Quizlet is motivating for studnets and can be used in lots of ways. Having a homework task that they can do on their mobile pones is a winner in this context. I bet they love it.

A nice variety of activity types too – something for everyone!
Definitions – You have dfferent sized fonts on this sheet. I’m not sure why. I’d have them all the same. I’d also organise the vocabulary page a Little bit differently. Ideas:
Organise words into groups (nouns, adjectives, etc.) or have them in alphabetical order (This is what a Publisher would do) – in which case codes like the dictionary uses (C, N, Adj would be find rather than the wole word). Whatever you decide consistency is the most important. E.g. Impressionism has no word class.
The crossword is great. Well done!
