A bit late, and I've been flexible with my definition of 'puzzle' (in this case, two/three situations at the end of the materials in which students have to think critically), but here is my work for the Week 4 assignment. I’ve tried to incorporate ideas from the previous weeks’ materials, both in terms of content and feedback, focusing on the skill of critical thinking for students preparing to do a business or management course at university.

As ever, comments, suggestions welcome.

  1. Hi Andrew

Thanks for sharing your week 4 materials. I like how you’ve incorporated learning from the previous weeks and how you’ve managesd to create materials so context-focused. Other teachers and studnets in a similar context would enjoy using these materials, I’m sure. Plus, they certainly achieve their aim of getting students to think critically.

I love the way you’ve incorporated quotes here and also added the links. Curious learners will look further. If even one student does so, it will have been well worth it.

The materials are nicely designed and laid out, clear and user-friendly. I like the fact that you include space for writing on the page. That’s almost always preferable.
The scenarios are fun – I’d enjoy thinking about them myself.
Great T Notes too – always good to duplicate the S materials and then add in instructions and more info.

All in all a fine set of materials here. I’d be happy to use them and I’m sure others would.
