I would say 'keep it simple' - start with one resource, whether that is a picture or text and look at how you can exploit that resource for different levels, different grammar/language points, for classroom or 1-2-1 lessons.
Ellie, Thanks for sharing your week 3 materials. I was unable to comment on the Google doc so here are some comments. I like the idea of self study matrials for this topic.
1. This doesn’t need a number – I think just an introduction as you have is fine. It isn’t a task.
Nice graphic explanation.
Nice examples – lots of support here.
2. So this will be number 1, I think. UNLESS you make number 1 a task and say something like. Read the introduction and look at the diagram and the examples. Can you add two more examples?
Great choice of photos for this kind of activity.
3. Again, good support. I like this task where the students click on the link and go to the newspaper image. It’s motivating.
The writing task is a logical final task after working through the other tasks. By this time studnets will have had plenty of practice and they have plenty of support on the page for language. A great selection of materials. Well done!

Oops, I added comments on your materials here by mistake. Great advice! Thank you Ellie.
