Hi Lama,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these materials. No worries about the late submission – ‘better late than never’. It’s so rewarding for me the attention paid to thinking about copyright for the images.
A very motivating and topical theme – great. Some comments:
Very professional looking materials. They could easily have come from a published course book. How did you become so skilled in design? Did you study it or did you learn ‘on the job’?
A great sequence of activities – all logical and clearly thought through. You’ve covered a whole range of skills and worked on Reading, Speaking, Pron, language focus … just great.
Task 2. I think this task could be simplified and shortened. Some info is not necessary and some is already in the table. E.g.
Look at the pictures and complete the table. You can add ….
Great pictures!
Reading – I love the initial question. I think this is the first time I’ve seen this – ever!
Good text analysis questions and I love the task where students complete the chart. It’s helping them develop all sorts of skills.
Post-reading – I like the role cards and the fact that you have created a 3-way activity. I also like the support for this task – fundamental I think.
Lots of scope for personalisation, critical thinking, collaborating and sharing ideas, self reflection and much more … great!
Katherine Bilsborough Thank you for your feedback. I was questioning my skills in designing lessons, but I think that with the positive remarks you made I cannot but cast away these doubts and focus rather on remedying my 'weaknesses' by building on my 'strengths'. Thank you again for your detailed and enlightening feedback.
