Since the third week was about SGM, I really conducted one for my students. Before this lesson, I encourage my students to run a Saving Turtle Campaign. After this lesson, we are really going to a Turtle Hatchery Center to hand over the fund raised!
The aim of the lesson is to make students write an article. Rather than simply giving students the points, students have to come up with their own. They will have the opportunities to study the points shared through the Gallery Walk discussion strategy before selecting the points that they believe are the most relevant. With the points, they are then able to write an article. individually.

The materials are just lovely. Really bright and engaging. Very motivating and I love how they link to something real.
A few (minor) comments
Slide 2 – I’d probably use lower case
Gallery walk – in slide 7, do students write on the slide? Can they access this slide themselves to have the info they need for the article? (I’m assuming so).
A good sequence of activities and plenty of support – first from earlier slides where they generate ideas and then from the detailed instructions in the final slide. Great!
