Greetings, everyone! Below you can find my week 3 materials. This time I have chosen to teach students about vegetables through the usage of memes. My students love memes, so I thought of finding ways to use them in the classroom. I tend to write my own memes, but I use pictures which are takes from the Internet.
I am looking forward to your comments.

Hi Rena,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for sharing your week 3 materials and sorry for the dealy in responding to them! Thanks for the background info too – much appreciated.
I love your use of memes as the content for these materials. I think studnets would be motivated and find them highly amusing. Humour is always awelcome in a classroom, I think –though not always easy to get right.
The materials are lovely and the tasks are all great.
I wonder about the copyright of the photos. Being on Google images doesn’t make them free to use automatically – but that’s something easy to rectify. I’m sure there are plenty of free-to-use vegetable images.
I’d change the instruction: Look at the picture and try to create a meme.
I’d say: Look at the picture and create a meme.
Well done!
