Hello,
Here is my work for the third assignment. Thank you #Erëza for reminding me of storyboardthat. I used an old story made by a group of students on that platform to prepare this SGM.

Awesome :) I really liked the idea and activities.
ReplyDeleteHi Lama,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for sharing your materials. I really like this storyboard website. It’s great for teachers and students.
Well done on creating the materials and for the story you wrote. I’ll comment here on the worksheet below.
I think I’dd add a short pre-reading task. That’s usually a good idea to get studnets thinking about the topic before they see the story.
E.g.
Talk with a partner. How much do you help at home?
Then I’d simplify the instructions a bit.
1. Read the story and answer the questions.
a…..
1c Maybe: do you have a similar relationship with a parent or carer?
2. Work in groups of four (a secretary, a …. Etc.)
Discuss the relationships between teenagers and parents.
Really nice materials with tasks that will get studnets talking and sharing their ideas. It might be an idea to add some useful language prompts in a box that they can refer to as they speak.
E.g. Useful phrases for sharing opinions.
I think that …
I agree in principle but …
Etc.
