  1. Hi Lama,

Thanks very much for sharing your materials. And thanks for your participation on the course too!

It’s lovely for me to see teachers using websites and tools to create games and puzzles like this. We can all learn so much from each other.

    Tile puzzle
This is great because not only have you created a puzzle, you’ve also made it go beyond the initial task to include an error correction activity too. Well done!

    Picture wordsearch
Again, you’ve gone further – first creating a really lovely puzzle and then extending the activity by asking studnets to write the American versions of the words.

Brilliant consolidation activities - Well done!

  2. Hi Lama! I really like the fact that your tile puzzle involves numbers and then the wordsearch involves letters. I feel like each activity appeals to a different kind of mind. I also like that you solicit the American vs. British examples because it is a good opportunity to raise awareness on these differences.

However, I think "Turn the words into American English" might be confusing. "Write the American version of these words" (as Katherine wrote in her feedback - she must be subconsciously used to giving directions haha) might be easier to understand. I guess it depends how much contact your students have with phrasal verbs.
