Hello

Hello,

this is this is my week 4 assignment. I created this worksheet keeping in mind a group of B2-level learners I used to teach. Their age was 26-30 (about the same as mine) and they were close friends before they started having English lessons.

  1. Hi Andreas,
Thank you for sharing this week’s materials with us. I was surprised ot read that you are so young because your materials suggest many years of experience - the content and because they are very professional looking. I love Reading that participants hav made materials thinking of a particular group of students. Often materials work in other contexts too but it shows you care.

A few comments about the worksheet.

A great topic – really motivating.
Layout, style, design – all great. A nice amount of white space.
    Instructions – very clear .
    Models provided – great.
3b. I’m assuming this is a speaking activity? Maybe mention that.
Great opportunities ofor all kinds of language focus, developing a range of skills.
A great sequence of activities leading up to the actual game – by which time they’ll be well-equipped to play it effectively. Great! I think other participants will enjoy using these materials with their students too.

  2. I really like the progression of the different tasks and the way the game also leads to the issue of white lies and whether they are acceptable.
