Hi everyone! I'm really happy to join you all in this course!

Hi everyone! I'm really happy to join you all in this course!

Six years ago I returned to Canada after teaching in a variety of contexts in Japan for 21 years. During that time I was very involved in JALT (which I really miss) attending conferences and giving presentations. I also became a teacher trainer.

Now I'm working as a teacher trainer in an online program developed by a local college. Most of the participants are teachers from Mexico. I really love working with teachers!

I'm taking this course because I want to learn the principles of creating materials in order to develop useful materials that help teachers develop their knowledge and skills.

P.S. I have a blog which is a work in progress and hasn't been updated in awhile.

  6. Hey Wilma! Great to see you here. So glad we did have the chance to (so, so briefly) meet in North America before I moved back here to Thailand. You've always been an inspiration, actually. Know it!

Your job sounds amazing - would love to learn more about it. Looking forward to connecting here and sharing our ideas and work (hope to be done with mine and post it and more tonight/tomorrow!).

  8. Katherine Bilsborough Thanks Katherine! That's a good question. I was actually thinking more about designing materials for the face to face sessions that I sometimes have, but maybe I'll change my focus.
