Hi everyone,
Here's my week 3 task. I have a question for you. I have used a transcript, which I have referenced. I guess that it would be ok for classroom material, but not if I was going to publish it. What are your thoughts about using or quoting academically published materials? Thank-you for your time.

About copyright credit, You need to ask permission to use it and have it appended in the publication if hardcover published!
ReplyDeleteHi Adam,
ReplyDeleteThnaks for sharing your week 3 materials. What a novel idea to use a transcript. Here are some comments about the actual worksheet.
Nice photos!
A good layout and design and plenty of White space which helps with clarity.
Task instructions.
In Task 1 you haven’t mantioned anything about ‘reading’ but I asume studnets hsould read the two texts in order to be able to do the activity. So that needs to be made clearer.
In Task 2 you’ve written ‘more than one each’. But you only have one line for each – so maybe this needs to be tweaked. Ss can either do the task in their notebooks or you can add more lines.
I’d also align the line son the right – but that might be a formatting issue within Google.
Task 3 I’d add inverted commas or italcs to ‘power with’ – just for clarity.
I’d never heard of these terms by the way – so thanks for teaching me something new.
A nice guided self reflection section at the end. Have you used these materials yet? I'm sure they'll be successful.
