Hi everyone

Hi everyone

I think I've bent the rules slightly in only using an image in the teachers' notes as an answer to be shown to students. As with the Week 2 materials, I'm finding it easier to focus on skills for an academic context rather than language so any ideas on the latter would be really useful.

Comments, suggestions welcome.

  1. Hi Andrew,

Thanks for sharing your week 3 materials and good on you for bending the rules. That’s what rules are for! I love the content for this task – it’s brilliant!

    Some comments on the materials.

Another set of attractive, professional looking materials with a clean design and very user-friendly.
    Logical sequencing and clear numbering.

Instructions are great too. Very clear and concise.
In the task 3 instruction, ‘sentence’ shoudl be plural.

The T Notes are particularly good. I’m impressed. They do everything that T notes should do and more. Another teacher could pick up these materials and walk into class with them without any prior information … and be fine.
    Well done.

  2. Katherine Bilsborough Thanks for the comments - I did some materials writing for other teachers this year and quickly became aware of the danger of assuming they would know what I meant when I wrote them, so I'm now working harder to explain more in teachers' notes.
