This is my assignment for week two. I have based it on a text found on a webpage for volunteering. The photo is my own.
I first analysed the text through Vocabkitchen - and made a quizlet with the words I found might cause my pupils problems. Then I chose to make a task with lexical chunks concerning feelings and the other talks are communicative task and I chose an optional individual task to finish it off.

Nice intro getting the class to discuss India and share what they know (or think they know).
After Reading. Ex. 1. I think I’d provide an example here, just to make sure everyone understands what is expected.
Ex. 2. I like this – personalisation which is very motivating.
Ex. 3. This could be made even clearer I think. Maybe: Choose someone to sit in the hot chair and be Alexandra. …
Ex. 4. Great discussion questions.
I love these materials. They work well, develop lots of different skills, are motivating and meaningful. I’d use them!
