Oh dear.

Oh dear. Just finished the Week 2 Assignment today. Why? My concept of authentic text is very broad! I scrolled through the posts here and committed to a news article. Usually when I need to make a homework assignment, it's done in a rush. This time I took the opportunity to "mine" the text for potential grammar and vocabulary targets before settling on the ones included. Picture shown of what that looked like.
I wanted to make a Google Form out of it since that's what I use to assign homework to students, but ran into the typical obstacle that working in a paper-less school poses: the question types would have to be modified to fit into the limited range of options digital platforms offer. Anyway, hope you enjoy reading about bringing icebergs to the desert!
