Which ONE piece of advice would you give a teacher who wanted to create their own classroom material?
Start with your students. And come back to them often. Try to see the material the way they would see it. Ask yourself frequently if the material (still) meets the need you are trying to meet.

ReplyDeleteAnne HendlerThis is one reason I use the songs with the most views on YOUTUBE. I know from the data that kids from around the world enjoy the sound of the music (regardless of how much they understand). I try to design around the joy that comes from the 'sound' not just the function, skills, key words, etc...
