Which ONE piece of advice would you give a teacher who wanted to create their own classroom material?
There are materials that cover the topic. There are materials that cover the language. And there are materials that cover both.
Strive to make ones that do both.
I'll admit, I am guilty of this sometimes. I often prioritize content/topic over language tasks, especially with higher levels (in those cases usually relying on window-of-opportunity/student-led teaching).
ReplyDelete2 simple check boxes. Love the simplicity bb
ReplyDeleteGreat Charlotte! I find too that sometimes when I go back to visit materials I made for one purpose, another opportunity for language teaching jumps out at me.
ReplyDeleteThat's something to ponder, Charlotte :)
