I believe that I’m in the middle of the issue here, I don’t agree but I don’t disagree either.
I believe that I’m in the middle of the issue here, I don’t agree but I don’t disagree either. From my experiences and my context of teaching, I believe that having authentic materials from native speakers is extremely useful and beneficiary for ELT. Sometimes some audios are Prepared exactly for a specific purpose, ex teach a grammar point, or specific vocabulary. This way they don’t achieve the communicative purpose of the language. May be we need to start researching for everyday language use to help our students fulfill their purpose.

I think most participants are of a similar opinion - that it very much depends on the context (as usual).
