  1. Sorry to come late to the party but I like what you've done here! Just one a couple of observations and comments, if I may:

"Do you hate to exercise?" sounds a bit strange to me, to be honest. "Do you hate exercise?" would seem better but both seem a bit strong as a first question (as opposed to a follow up). So, I would consider reordering the questions OR adding a task to get Ss to reorder the questions to make a short conversation. For example, it'd seem more natural/logical to start with Q4, 5 or 6, then lead into Q7, 2, 3, 4 in no particular order.

  2. Phil Brown Hi there Phil. Thanks for looking at my worksheets and for your feedback. I didn't give a lot of thought to the ordering. I was basically preparing the students for the reading (the main activity - authentic material). I like the idea of the ordering task. Thanks again.

  3. Hi Mark,

Thanks for sharing your materials for week 2. I agree with Phil’s comment above – I think ‘Do you hate to exercise?’ is quite a negative question to start off with. But it’s also a very different focus on the usual ‘Do you love to exercise?’ so I’m not sure what to think really – sorry, not very helpful! I think a Publisher would suggets changing it to a positive question. But publishers aren’t always right – just give it some thought!

Materials are looking great after the changes you implemented.

  4. Hello Mark, I love your colorful and visually appealing worksheets which are carefully color blocked for visual interest. I think the students at many skill levels would enjoy this plan! I felt like ELT students would need directions printed on the worksheets!

  7. Matthew Noble I hire an artist to do the sketches and do the coloring myself. I make YouTube videos so I need my own artwork. From my YouTube videos, I have developed materials for my website, I have made two textbooks and vocabulary-based conversation cards.

  9. It's impressive how your worksheets and website have such clear branding. Do you use Word/Publisher to produce your worksheets?
