Hello everyone, I think I might be one of the last people to join this group considering our course starts in an hour :) I've been an EFL teacher and a translator/subtitler for the past 12 years now. I've taught students of all ages and levels, held workshops/given presentations in TESOL conventions and contributed a chapter to the latest Teaching English/British Council publication "Integrating global issues in the creative English language classroom" along with other wonderful colleagues from around the world. One of the main reasons I feel excited about attending this course is that I've always created my own materials or adapted textbook materials as a way to promote my students' creativity and boosting their critical thinking skills. In fact, I'm so passionate (or curious and easily bored :) )about finding ways to making my lesson as student-driven as possible which might explain why as a blogger most of my posts are about ways we can spice up our lessons. (if interested, you can find a link to my blog below). I'm really looking forward to getting to learn from all of you and sharing ideas and experiences!
