ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your materals. They are certainly comprehensive. I’m writing a few comments here as I was unable to comment in Google without changing your formatting.
You’ve clearly demonstrated here that it isn’t always necessary to create all your materials from scratch and that when we have good materials (Like English File) we can use them but then create our own materials around them to make them appropriate for our students – and to enjoy the creative act.
What you’ve shared here are (I think) the materials and the lesson plan that a teacher would see. So I imagine a few small details would change in the actual materials students would be given in the classroom.
I’m wondering whether they would use a copy of the course book (EF) and you’d provide the other materials separately or whether they’d have a worksheet like the one you’ve made – with things like ‘T shows SS photos of …’ etc. and all the other references for teachers removed.
So, for example, if you are going to pre-teach the 5 itemsof vocabulary, will they appear in the students’ materials anywhere? And if so, will there be an instruction?
A motivating, fun topic of course, with a nice sequence of tasks and pleny of variety in terms of skills and language dvelopment. I’m sure students would enjoy using these materials.
