I believe it is essential to expose students to non-native speakers of English in authentic audio and video materials. As Andreas said, English is spoken by millions of NNS, which means students will eventually - if not very often - communicate with people whose first language is not English.

    Viviane, it would be interesting to know the trends in our communication: do we communicate with native speakers of English mostly or non-native speakers. I think that knowing global trends would be revealing.
