I did it at last! I faced some difficulties uploading my doc file into google drive. During the transformation, there were some changes into my file and thus my pictures were moved and changed my layout. Anyway, I hope it's OK now.
Feel free to add any comments!
Thanks!
Sophia Simeonidou If you run into problems with format shifting too much, you can convert to pdf and then upload that. PDF will upload more like an image.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip
ReplyDeleteBarbara Hoskins Sakamoto Thanks! I'll follow your advice for this week's project!
ReplyDeleteHi Sophia,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your materials. I’m glad you managed to upload them. I wasn’t able to comment in Google but I’m posting a few comments here.
How old are you target users? I imagine young teens or later primary studnets will be motivated by the topic.
You’ve got a nice sequence of activities – it’s also a topic that most students will relate to. That’s always a bonus.
You’ve made a lot of effort with the layout and page design to make it look appealing too – that would have taken me for ever!
The only other comment that I’d make is that some people think Comic sans Font shouldn’t be used. Now this, of course is something that comes down to personal preferences and is a style matter. It’s a contsant topic of discussion amongst writers (we need to get out more!) You might find this article interesting. It’s from the Times Education Supplement. But please use whichever fonts you like! Or maybe have a discusson with your students one day about which fonts look best.
