Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!
Here is my project. It focuses on imperative forms and it is intended for A2-level adult learners. I assumed that I was allowed to use all these logos, mottos and photos.

PS I first did it in Word and the size of some images changed when I uploaded it in google docs.

  1. Hi, I like your idea. I had the same problem when I uploaded a word doc. to google drive. I found converting to pdf helped. I'm the least technological person so I'm sure there's another way. By the way,
I'm asked to request permission when I click on the document

  2. Same here, Andreas, I had to ask permission to view your document. I really like the idea, especially for adult classes and I could see the task being used for B1 students as well.

  3. Andreas Charatzidis, you probably need to change the permission of your link, so that anyone with the link can comment. I posted a video showing how to do that, or you can read this tutorial if it isn't obvious how to change permissions.

  4. Hi Andreas,

Thanks for shring your materials. My access is denied for now so I’m posting a few comments here. Logos and mottos are certainly ‘short texts’, probably the shortest you can get. It’s a great idea to use them because they will be familiar and motivating.

A great choice of ‘content’ and great how you’ve used it to teach imperatives and also to include a creative task as well as encurage critical thinking. Sequencing is logical and clear too. I like the fact that you’ve included examples – they’re always very helpful.

I don’t know what the copyright licenses (permissions) are for each separate image and logo. Sometimes you are able to use something freely, sometimes you aren’t and then there are various licenses that lie in between. We’ll be taking a look at copyright tomorrow.

  5. Sorry for that. I didn't know about the access settings in google drive docs, I've just changed my post. Now I have the sharable link.

  6. You generated so much grammar language learning from the logos. I love the creative element of this task as well. I believe the learners would remember this lesson as it's visually pleasing and creative.
